Description of the genus

Rhizome erect to procumbent, massive and covered with persistent winged stipe-bases. Lamina deeply 2-pinnatifid; veins free. Fertile and sterile pinnules not differentiated. Sporangia borne on the under surface of the lower parts of the lower pinnae.

 

Worldwide: 2 species, Australia, New Zealand, southern Africa and New Guinea.
